Basic Entry Screen

Basic Entry brings up tabs for data entry. You can enter the data directly or use Autofill and add additional data later.

Item Entry

Clicking the Basic Entry Menu option will bring up the screen below.

 

 

Basic Tab

The Basic screen will automatically appear after clicking on the Entry menu.

Autofill

You can click Autofill and scan in the ISBN number of the item or go to Title below and begin direct data entry.

 

Title

The title is an essential field.

Period Date

The date an item is added is automatically entered into the Period Date.

Loan Type

The Loan Type will automatically appear and will stay at the last one selected until changed again.

Status & Due Date

After an item is added the Status is automatically set to On Shelf. When an item is borrowed the due date is automatically entered.
