Holds:

Staff can place an item on hold for a Patron.

Holds Online

Patrons can put an item on Hold online or across a network by using the OPACinternet/intranet Module.

Many libraries are using Holds so that library patrons can put items on Hold from home and come into the library to only pick up their books rather than come in, search for, and check out.
