Installing LiBRARYSOFTWeB and OPACinternet/Intranet
Rather than use our hosting service you can host these applications on the Internet or on a Network using your own Server.
LiBRARYSOFTWeB and OPACinternet/Intranet can run at the same time as LiBRARYSOFT. They can be used on a single machine or loaded on a Server to be used across a network. The software will treat the Network as an Intranet.

See steps below.
1. Install LiBRARYSOFT, the install routine automatically installs LiBRARYSOFTWeB.
2. Right-Click on LiBRARYSOFTWeB.exe and select Run as administrator.
3. Double-click on the LiBRARYSOFT Icon that appears.
4. The LiBRARYSOFT Internet Catalog Screen will appear.
5. To verify that all is running correctly left double-click on the librarysoft icon that appears. A browser will open and the start screen for librarysoftweb will appear. You can close the browser if LiBRARYSOFTWeB appears.
6. From any workstation use the address below. The static ip address 192.168.0.100 is an example address, please use the static ip address of your Server.
http://192.168.0.100:8082/?DB=LIBW
7. The library name and other settings can be changed by editing the librarysoftweb.ini file located in the LiBRARYSOFT 11.0 folder.
OPACinternet Install
1. Open the OPACinternet Folder in the LiBRARYSOFT 11.0 Folder.
2. Right-Click on OPACinternet.exe and select Run as administrator.
3. The OPAC Internet Catalog Screen will appear. Note that this will work on a Network by automatically treating it as an Intranet.
Change the Port number if Port 3061 is used by another application. Note that LiBRARYSOFTWeB and OPACinternet need to use different Port numbers.
4. To verify that all is running locally correctly left double-click on the librarysoft icon that appears. A browser will open and the start screen for librarysoftweb will appear.
5. From any workstation use the address below. The static ip address 192.168.0.100 is an example address, please use the static ip address of your Server.
